Beyond my work history

My path into design started with a love of words. I studied Theater and Performance Studies at UC Berkeley, where the work was deeply analytical. We spent our time close-reading text, unpacking subtext, and understanding how motivation, intent, and context shape meaning. That training taught me to treat language with care, noticing how small shifts in phrasing can change how something is understood, felt, or acted on.

That lens now shapes how I approach conversational design and content strategy. I’m drawn to complex problems that require empathy, interpretation, and adaptability, especially where systems need to communicate clearly while navigating ambiguity. I enjoy exploring ideas playfully, then refining them through testing, feedback, and real-world constraints.

Earlier experience in fast-paced, customer-facing environments helped sharpen my ability to read situations quickly and stay grounded under pressure. Together, these experiences fuel my passion for designing language-driven experiences that reduce friction, build trust, and make complicated things feel a little more human.
